We are seeking passionate, enthusiastic, flexible and reliable Support Workers to join our Child and Family Services team in Karratha.

Our aim, as a team of committed staff, is to bring healing and growth to children’s lives. 

We are seeking Support Workers to provide therapeutic care to children who have experienced traumatised backgrounds. The successful applicants will work in residential settings and play an important role in the day to day lives of the children in care by providing therapeutic care in a positive and homely environment. Support Workers are responsible to assist, guide and support the children and young people to develop independent living skills while ensuring daily care needs are being met.

The ideal candidate will have experience relevant to the role and be able to demonstrate empathy, guidance, respect and patience at all times.

What you need to be successful in the role

  • Experience providing direct care in residential services (Out of Home Care) 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a complex environment as a member of a multidisciplinary team and in partnership with other services
  • Sound practice and knowledge or significant experience in meeting the holistic needs of Children and Young People
  • Current driver’s licence
  • A current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • Available and willing to work shift work and weekends, public holidays
